Posts: 4980 10/06/09 10:30	Well, I voted so hard on this and I was prepared to vote even harder for Cheryl. Now we've lost our shot at this. I am shocked he didn't win. We voted and voted until we couldn't vote anymore. And it's not like we're the only ones. He had a ton of support going, more it seemed than any other celeb. I just can't believe it. We lose him and Tom, and Cheryl twice.

Posts: 40 10/06/09 10:32	That was a totally bogus vote. There's no way in hades that Sabrina Bryan of all people would get this vote, but I smelled a rat ever since the names were posted. Everyone but her were either winners or runners up. I could live with Kristi or Mel B, these people had fans. There's a reason Sabrina was voted off in the first place, she didn't have the fanbase...and I don't buy a big rally for her either. There's a personal history between her and Mark Ballas, so former fans of hers might not be fans now... I am getting very sick of the ABC/Disney fast ones. So she's on the payroll...so what? I am so sorry that Cheryl and Gilles were once again subjected to this crass manipulation.

For real, I don't buy for a second Sabrina won over Gilles. Or even over a couple others. I'm pretty sure Mel and Shawn had some good groups voting for them too. I imagine their fan bases were bigger considering they lasted longer than Sabrina in their respective seasons.

Posts: 51 10/06/09 11:15	I am really disappointed as well. I voted a lot for Gilles, as I did last season as well. I just do not understand how Sabrina Bryan could have gotten the most votes?? I really thought that the only two people that could have been his competition were Shawn and Mel B. They say bad things happen in three's. Cheryl and Gilles losing last season, Tom having to withdraw when he wasn't even in the bottom two, and NOW Gilles not winning the Design A Dance. I really was hoping that Cheryl and Gilles would dance one more time together on television. Gilles even hinted at it in the beginning of the season. Drew, Apollo, Mel B, and Sabrina (already!) have all come back to dance. Maybe DWTS will still bring Gilles back to dance. We can only hope....

I completely agree with you! When I saw her talking to Tom B and he announced that she won, I was sooo shocked! And then to add insult to it (I am not 100% sure exactly what was said) didn't he make it seem that she won by a lot of votes???

Posts: 2556 10/06/09 11:22	Ok, i'm thinking a little positive here...maybe they got better plans on how they are going to reunite Gilles and Cheryl...this is going to be a long season for Cheryl and who knows, they might be thinking of bringing back Gilles on some of the results show...Not once but a few more times...they can't have him do the design and then come back with Cheryl for more...Maybe they are also thinking of reuniting them together on the tour or perhaps an all star is imminent..I'm sure they know the high demand for a chance to see cheryl and Gilles dance together again...One of these days, it's going to happen for sure.

Would like to know how many votes were cast. But that is something ABC will not devulge. Just have to catch a glimps of her whenever she is on the show.

Posts: 314 10/07/09 12:59	yknow, i wouldn't be surprised if they had a trick up their sleeve... like last year. they picked four people instead of two like they were supposed to. and they just HAPPENED to be the brat pack + lacey. they've probably had it planned all along that it was gonna be Sabrina... there's no way she could have won against five previous winners and three runner-ups. And three POPULAR runner-ups... i mean she didn't even have enough fans to beat MelB and Helio the first time around... and now suddenly she beats everyone? me thinks there's something fishy goin on. maybe they'll bring back all the celebs on the list "It's never about winning. But everyone who is on the show is contracted to ABC..can't blame the stars, I mean Gilles is going to be on Brothers and Sisters this month. But seriously folks Sabrina Bryan didn't even make top 6 because she didn't have the votes. She was a good dancer, but Paso Doble sticks in my craw. Her Paso IMHO was waaayyy overscored and she got a 30, because the show propped her up to stay on. Contrast that with Gilles and Cheryl's first Paso Doble, that Len denied a 30.. it's just too sad for words. This is why I'm p/o'd

Posts: 2556 10/10/09 2:16	Sabrina do have tons of fans...They just didn't vote for her enough back then when she was still on the show, thinking she was so good that they didn't bother to vote anymore...In the history of the show, that was the most shocking elimination evah..That's when almost the ABC MB exploded with so much outrage from a lot of people..They just don't post over at the ABC board anymore..ABC got the most complaints they ever got too for any contestants they ever had...Even more than Gilles upsets or Tom inclusion on the show for that matter...Besides, she's such a good loyal friend to Cheryl, so i don't mind if she gets it...She campaigned a lot for Gilles and cheryl last season, and Tom is one of her favorite this season because of Cheryl..I'm not upset by any means that she won over Gilles...If not Gilles, then she is the next person I'd like to win anyway. Posts: 2556 10/10/09 2:20	And sorry for letting my feeling know about this, but honestly, I'm a little dissapointed w Gilles anyway...I just felt that just like Drew and Cristian, he wasn't really there for Cheryl this season..Yes, he is complimenting Cheryl for a job well done, but i never got the feeling that he was supporting Cheryl and her partner at all this season...he may not have a good assessment for Tom, but he is Cheryl's partner and he should have lend his support for them no matter what, for Cheryl's sake.I did not like the fact that he went out there and told the world of who he really really wants and should win...He was influencing his fans to vote for someone else...Melissa Rycroft, no matter how bad Tony's partner is this season, she did stick up for him and voted and told her fns to vote for Tony and his partner... At least until Drew and his insecurities for Gilles took over last season, Drew was telling everyone to vote for Cheryl even when she had Wayne...I am actually hurt for Cheryl, that Gilles is cheering for someone else than her...In my eyes, i think he just showed a little bit of disloyalty for her there. And i just read from someone that he is actually ok to dance with someone else if cheryl don't get this anyway??Well then i suppose i don't have to feel bad at all for Gilles not winning this??I love Gilles though, i think he is one of the nicest guy out there, but my love more is for Cheryl and I'm hurt for her...Again, i don't speak for anyone but myself...But i still love Gilles dearly and i still hope someday we get to see the two of them dance again, but i just can't help to feel the dissapointments right now.Sorry....

Posts: 2556 10/10/09 4:00	yah it's pointless now..but i just had to get it off of my chest...I think it was the producers who asked him to be there on the premier anyway..I just thought you know, just like cristian and drew, they both wanted cheryl to do well, just not with others..Actually Gilles said it himself that he is rooting and really really want Mark and Lacey to win, because he thinks he is the micest guy in the world.. Sorry for being a little touchy about this,,but moving on.
