We have come up with a way to vent your frustrations, comments, and complaints that can be turned into something useful rather than ranting and raving on Cheryl's site which is not as productive. Let's turn our frustration into something that we can collectively send to ABC or possibly make a petition to get the results we all know were deserved. Keep checking back as we are working hard on the situation- and feel free to let us and everyone else know how you feel and share any ideas! Em & Mindy

Posts: 2 05/22/09 1:00	Hi, You are right, we all need to support C&G and try to have ABC admit, It's a show about dancing and how a pro dancer can make the celebrity shine, Cheryl did such a great work, amazing, it was entertaining, sexy, funny, and consistent, Gilles was the best dancer ever, how you can compare Shawn to Gilles, and if anyone say that her freestyle was better, we can say that Gilles dance like a pro all season, that's bogus and unfair, they deserve this trophy and they should at least for Cheryl's and Gilles hard work give them a trophy. Posts: 2560 05/22/09 2:39	I don't know about the petition, it might be unlikely that we can still do anything about it.I am convinced that this is the result that the producers really wanted to have anyway...Just found out that it was actually the producers who brought Apolo to come down and help Shawn and Mark for the Finale.Sounds like they've been really trying to help them out to garner some votes..We know how popular Apolo still is to the DWTS voters..I felt like there was some kind of a fix that took place..They've been wanting some kind of an upset all along..They want to build some kind of controversies for the finale to keep people talking..It almost like a trend recently in a lot of reality show- with a big splash in the end.From The Bachelors,the sixtuplets mom and Dad and even up to the American Idol the other night.Everybody wants to have the most unpredictable and most talked about Finale than the others.I guess the competition is tight and they have to find a way in any way to make the buzz going.I guess that explains with the 1% issue, they are purposely trying to stir up something from the fans and the medias...I'm thinking that's what's happening.

But people have been saying that and yet they kept coming back...it's nothing new to them...The producers are all about greed and money..If they can sell Cheryl like that, they wouldn't care either who deserves it or not, or who worked the hardest..Sheri,Hollywood is a bunch of cutthroats..Bad or Good, it's all about publicities and controversies that makes money..It doesn't matter if they step on other people's toes or hurt someone they love in the process..Loyalty or friendship doesn't seem to exist in Hollywood anymore..I can probably see why the producers did not even try to protect her from any of those awful controversies about her in the past.They probably loved every second of it...So what if Cheryl gets hated and trashed by the fans.....as long as it helps to print the show on the paper and put on the news,it's all good for them..They know when people get really really tired of her, they always have the option to toss her aside and have the new up and comer to replace her...They know, Cheryl is one person they have that lots of people and the tabloids love to hate..She is like a magnet to all these controversies and so they add fuel to the fire instead of protecting her from it-Sad..

They could've done something on the 2nd night, but IMO the first night was the problem. That was scripted to make everyone come out close. I'm no expert but I could see Shawn was not as good the 2nd time in her paso, and Melissa was better but in no way was that worth a 29. They pointed out at least two mistakes and she gets 10s??? Gilles was the only one that deserved 10s there. For freestyle, everyone was scored appropriately enough IMO. And in the end I think Gilles should have gotten his 58, Shawn 55, Melissa 53. The second night I thought everyone should've gotten 30s (Well, not really Melissa, but she already got 30 on that samba before so why would they dock her the second time around? I thought it was improved from the first time, I guess I would've given 9s). It's just stupid to let the fans decide EVERYTHING in the end regardless of how the stars perform. They don't do that every other week, it's not so painfully scripted every other week like it is in the finale. The judges IMO make their occasional blunders in scoring the other weeks (by a point or two) but come on. The finale is always the worst and they gave some of their most bone-headed scores ever this time around. Score them appropriately and let the fans vote like it were any other week. I want something but not really a danceoff. I would like a recount, if there is a way to do it without them dancing again. There were millions the other night who could not get in their phone votes, there were problems with the internet voting. I don't see why they can't change the system. Why don't they leave the phone lines open longer than 30 minutes? In Season 4 they gave an hour. Why not give more than that? I say give at least a couple of hours, give time for the busy signals to die down so people can get their votes in. Or they could really go far out and leave them open as long as they do the online voting. I don't really get why they leave the online voting open so long (unless it's just a money-making scheme, that must be it, lol) when the main way the average viewer votes is probably by phone. I hate that tpp, especially with this season. You know...I would have felt this way if Gilles was with another professional and shawn won. It's just not right...it doesn't look right first of all!! I completely agree with you about using Cheryl like that, all other MB and comments Cheryl is the most maligned dancing pro. I don't like how they are using her, I hope they don't cast her aside, I'm very dissapointed of this outcome however I will continue to support ABC and keep on watching DWTS and vote as long as Cheryl is in it, but if they cast her aside I will not be watching anything that ABC produces anymore.

I have watched this show since season 2 simply because of her talent, and, for the life of me, I can't figure out why so many people bash her. She's professional and seems to get along well with all of her partners. Other than sheer jealousy, what is their reason to hate her? Does anyone have any theories or opinions on this? It drives me crazy.

Posts: 22 05/23/09 3:40	As much as I love Gilles and Cheryl, I don't think that this is the right thing to do. I am upset about the results, but this isn't helping us. We gave our best efforts. If we go forward with this, it would only make Gilles and Cheryl look bad. They have been nothing but supportive of Shawn and Mark with their win, and they have been so graceful about it. Trying to take the trophy away from Shawn would make people lose a lot of respect for them. I think that Cheryl and Gilles went out with such grace and kindness. I would like to keep it like that. I love that we are so supportive of our favorite couple, but we must not turn this into an ugly fight. Gilles is going to surgery, he is tired, he wants to be with his family. We cannot give him another dance-off. I know Gilles just wants to rest right now and not think about this anymore. As much as I want Gilles to show that he is the real winner, I cannot ask for anything more than what he gave this season. He did the best that he could do. Everyone knows that. I don't want anyone to find offense in what I'm saying. I'm just trying to find the middle ground for myself. After weeks of complaining and posting angry messages, I'm trying to deal with this whole thing. I can't put myself through another round of chaos and having to be disappointed again. I appreciate everyone's effort into this and it is great, but I really think that what is best for Gilles right now, is to be with his family and rest after his surgery.
