This week I'm writing to you from New York where we've been trying to rehearse while Gilles gets ready for a big charity soccer game that he's playing in on Saturday. We flew out on a red-eye right after Tuesday night's show and then we will head back to Los Angeles on Sunday to get ready for Monday's performance. It's been go, go, go all week!
It's been really great being in New York for the week, a nice change of pace, a new studio to rehearse in and of course I get to spend a little time outside the studio reconnecting with friends whom I haven't seen in forever.
This week we have the Jive and it just might be Gilles biggest challenge yet. It's such a fast dance with a lot of complicated steps so we're spending more time than usual in the studio this week as there is a lot of pressure on us to stay in front of the pack. We don't want to disappoint the fans who have been by our side each week.
